From used polypropylene to granules you can trust.
Six steps separate incoming material from a finished, approved batch. The fifth one is the reason customers stay with us.
-
01
Collection & segregation
Incoming polypropylene is collected and separated by polymer type and colour.
-
02
Hot washing
Material is washed to remove dirt, labels and residue before processing.
-
03
Sorting
Washed material is sorted again so each grade starts from a clean, uniform feed.
-
04
Granulation
The melt is processed into uniform granules with consistent shade and size.
-
05
Lab testing
Every batch is tested for MFI, density, moisture, visual contamination, elongation and Izod impact strength.
-
06
Dispatch
Approved batches are packed and dispatched from Delhi.
Every batch is tested before it leaves.
Quality is our priority. Each batch of granules goes through our in-house lab before dispatch. This is what keeps quality stable, repeatable and reliable for your production.
How we test-
01
MFI
Melt Flow Index
Confirms the melt flows the same way in every batch, so your machine settings hold.
Checked on every batch -
02
g/cm³
Density
Screens every batch for mixed polymers and filler before it reaches you.
Checked on every batch -
03
H2O
Moisture Content
Keeps splay marks, silver streaks and voids off your finished parts.
Checked on every batch -
04
Visual
Visual Quality & Contamination
Checks shade, granule uniformity, specks and foreign particles.
Checked on every batch -
05
%
Elongation
Shows how far the material stretches before it breaks, so parts flex instead of cracking.
Checked on every batch -
06
J/m
Izod Impact Strength
Measures the energy a notched sample absorbs when struck, so finished parts survive drops and knocks.
Checked on every batch
Certified for quality, environment, safety and recycled content.
Our Narela plant and Bawana warehouse are audited by independent certification bodies. Every certificate covers the manufacturing of PP and PPCP plastic granules.

Recycled content
GRS Global Recycled Standard
One polymer, two types.
Polypropylene (PP) is the parent material. It comes in two types, homopolymer (HP) and copolymer (CP). Both look the same in the bag; the difference shows when the finished part is dropped, stacked or chilled.
PPPolypropylenethe parent material of both types
Homopolymer
PP homopolymerThe stiffer of the two. It holds its shape under load and gives a harder, glossier surface.
- Higher stiffness and surface hardness
- Glossy finish
- Caps, thin-walled containers, housewares
Copolymer
PP copolymer (PPCP)The tougher of the two. It absorbs knocks instead of cracking and stays tough in the cold.
- Better impact strength
- Keeps its toughness at low temperature
- Crates, buckets, furniture, automotive parts
Made into things people use every day.
Tell us the part and the process. These are the product families our granules most often go into, with the ranges processors usually start from.
-
Furniture
Chairs, stools and decor parts that need strong, even colour across large surfaces.
CP Colour Super Black -
Toys
Bright, clean shades with uniform reproduction from one batch to the next.
CP PW Colour Super -
Crates, bins & pallets
Hard-working mouldings where strength and material cost both matter.
Black CP Colour Colour 2nd -
Caps & closures
Small visible parts in clear, white, coloured or metallic finishes.
Natural Milky Metallic -
Containers & buckets
Everyday containers in consistent standard colours and clean whites.
CP Colour Milky -
Automotive & appliance parts
Deep blacks and neutral greys with dependable material properties.
Black Grey -
Utility mouldings
Functional, cost-driven parts where performance leads and finish is practical.

Asked before every first order.
What does Markandey Polymers make?
We manufacture and supply polymer granules: a hub of PP and CP granules covering natural, colour, black, grey, metallic, milky and regrind grades.
Which grades are available?
Our range covers Natural, CP PW Colour, Regrind, CP Colour, Black, Grey, Metallic, Milky, Super and Colour 2nd granules, and we develop custom grades to your requirement.
What is the difference between PP and CP granules?
PP is polypropylene. CP refers to polypropylene copolymer, often written PPCP, which is generally chosen where a part needs better impact strength. Grades with CP in the name belong to the copolymer family.
Is every batch tested?
Yes. Every batch is tested in our in-house lab before dispatch. Testing includes melt flow index (MFI), density, moisture content, a visual quality and contamination check, elongation and Izod impact strength.
Can you supply a custom requirement?
Yes. We specialise in customised polymer granule solutions tailored to specific application requirements and performance expectations. Share your shade reference or target properties and we will confirm what we can do.
Tell us the shade. We will send the sample.
Share the grade, your moulding process and the monthly quantity. Our sales team replies with availability, a quotation and a sample for your trial.
