What PPCP granules are

PPCP granules are polypropylene copolymer granules: polypropylene with a share of ethylene built into the polymer chain. That small change gives the material better impact strength and toughness than plain PP, especially in the cold, which is why PPCP is the usual choice for parts that get dropped, stacked, flexed or loaded. Plain PP granules give stiffness and a good surface at a lower cost, and suit parts that are not knocked about in use. PPCP granules cost a little more and give the impact strength that crates, buckets, furniture, caps and automotive parts need. Many buyers take both from us: PP for one part, PPCP for another. We make our own PP and CP granules: used polypropylene is sorted by grade and colour, washed, shredded, then melted and extruded into uniform granules at our plant, and dispatched from our warehouse in Bawana Industrial Area, Delhi. Every batch is tested before it leaves

Each batch of PPCP granules is tested in our in-house laboratory for melt flow index, density, moisture, contamination, elongation and Izod impact strength, and nothing is dispatched until it has passed all six.
